I'm Mostafa Ali, an Infrastructure/DevOps engineer. I work across provisioning, containerization, CI/CD, and observability to keep production systems reliable and deployments repeatable.

Experience

E-commerce platform deployment

I led the infrastructure and deployment work for an ERP system and an e-commerce platform, taking both from provisioning through to production.

The infrastructure ran on AWS, with the networking, compute, and supporting resources defined in Terraform rather than clicked together by hand — anything rebuilt from scratch should come out the same way every time. Ansible took over from there for configuration management and application deployment on top of that infrastructure.

Internal ERP platform

Internal Services were containerized with Docker and run on Kubernetes, which handled scaling and rollouts without manual intervention during traffic spikes or releases. On the delivery side, I built out CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions so builds, tests, and deployments ran the same way across every environment instead of depending on whoever happened to be pushing the button.

To ensure fine-grained visibility into the business operations in production, I set up Prometheus and Grafana dashboards and alerting covering both infrastructure health and application-level metrics, so problems surfaced before they turned into incidents.
